A small note to add: Hoping everyone stays tuned for our next post, it's dedicated to a very special someone, who in baking terminology - is "the icing to my cake".

Theres nothing wrong with buying your crust ready made, but make sure its the right brand. Graham's crust is light airy and not too sweet. |

Ballarini 1889 is an italian brand which produce the most heavy duty and durable cookware i've set hands on. Completely non stick, fantastic heat distribution |
the sugar will start to caramelise nicely on its own, keep on very low heat! |

2 for blending + 2 for slicing |
you might want to add some milk, and buttercream, to get a thicker/smoother consistency |
pour it all in! |
stir it all around to let it cook a little on the low heat
don't use a plastic spatula :) |
pour in the toffee/banana mix into the crust area while still hot, to let the crust absorb in the moisture |

scatter them around evenly, a nice job for perfectionists! |
i always find that british creams are the best in the market - always fresh and the taste is incredibly creamier and richer to local brands. |
whip it by hand around 20 times, but be careful to stop before the cream splits |
the yummy part :) |
coffee essence is the "cherry on top of the cake" in this recipe. For coffee lovers out there, this part is where you can determine how much of a coffee kick you want! personally, i'm crazy about my coffee so i went a little crazy! Dissolve some coffee powder into a small amount of water to get a concentrated flavour and add to whipped cream according to taste! |
whip away - good thing about this recipe is that you don't need to get your machines dirty, it can be done by hand! |
